Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF raised over $3.2M
Over HK$ 1M raised today
Continue to support UNICEF in relief efforts
Amount raised in the past 7days: HK$3.2 million Amount raised of today: HK$1 million Total amount supporting Qinghai relief efforts: HK$4.2 million
Heartfelt thanks for all your support to our relief works in Qinghai. We would like to express our special thanks to a warm-hearted anonymous, who donates a bank cheque with amount $100,000 to support UNICEF’s relief works in Qinghai in the fundraising activity took place in Harbour City yesterday.
The situation is still critical. Our upcoming various fundraising campaigns to support Qinghai relief works are as follows:
• Street fundraising activities by volunteers have been started until early May;
• 21/4: Mr. Koo Tin Lok, Ambassador of the Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF had made a donation appeal to the Hong Kong public at Times Square;
• Donation boxes will be put in all Park N’ Shops supermarkets, Pricerite stores, Maxim Express, Maxim cake shop, Genki Sushi, Sen-ryo and Starbucks collecting donations from the general public.
• UNICEF will be participating in the fundraising campaign held by various artists on 26/4.
