Kick-starting UNICEF HK's '7000 Days of Life Campaign'
Tickets limited to just 1,000 parent-child pairs and available on a first come first serve basis
5 January 2024, Hong Kong — Climate crisis is affecting the lives and future of children worldwide. To respond, Hong Kong Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF HK), with support from China Resources Charitable Fund Limited, will be hosting 'Discover, for every child 2024 - Play for a livable planet' at Hong Kong Noah's Ark in Ma Wan, empowering children in Hong Kong to actively participate in global climate action.
This event is to kick-start UNICEF HK's '7000 Days of Life' campaign, aiming to convey the urgency of climate crisis and mental health for our future generation throughout their development from 0-18 years old (i.e. their 7000 days of life).
The event offers a playful learning experience for local families to explore the impact of climate crisis on children worldwide through various interactive missions. Child participants would discover how they can unite for actions to mitigate the crisis, nurturing their empathy towards those in need and fostering the spirit of "children helping children".
Featuring six key themes and a total of 20 play booths, including science missions, organic farm tours, handicraft workshops, augmented reality (AR) experiences, interactive screenings, and more, the event not only promises great fun for children but also educates them on UNICEF's global efforts to address climate crisis and provide humanitarian emergency relief.
Moreover, all child participants who complete a designated number of game challenges will receive a Certificate of Participation issued by UNICEF HK. The more challenges they complete, the more gifts they will earn.
Enroll now in the event and take your first step in this meaningful journey!
