Here comes again the last call for UNICEF Young Envoys Programme 2012!
If you are an outgoing, positive and independent full time secondary school student aged between 12 and 18, and have experience in community service/ voluntary work, please do not hesitate to apply now. It is a truly golden opportunity for you to help and care women and children in need. The application deadline is 1 November 2011. For more details, please visit the website and facebook page.
UNICEF Young Envoys Programme was launched in 1996. Through training workshops, leadership training camp and implementation of school projects, young people can develop their skills in effective leadership, communication and cooperation, and be cultivated to be our young leaders to advocate for children’s rights. Outstanding Young Envoys will be selected visit a developing country, to interact with the local women and children and better understand the achievements of UNICEF in improving their lives. Young Envoys also have an opportunity to advocate children’s rights by participating and organising fundraising and local advocacy progammes with UNICEF’s support.
