‘I♥PaMa．PaMa♥U’ photo-shooting event

According to the Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), every child should be protected physically and psychologically, and to be respected.

Each year, UNICEF Young Envoys will receive 10 month training and participate in oversea field visits to be equipped as child rights advocates. This year, UNICEF Young Envoys 2011 selected ‘Emotional Maltreatment in Families’ as their research topic. It is found that a child may become less confident, emotional and more vulnerable to anxiety if parent always ridicule, criticize, or insult their child verbally.

Therefore, in order to promote the child-friendly culture in families in Hong Kong, UNICEF Young Envoys 2011 will organise a photo-shooting event, ‘I♥PaMa．PaMa♥U’ this Saturday. We call for all parents and children to express their love to each other by simply raising your selected or written ‘Heart Message’ board – “You are my proud!”, “Give me a hug!”, “Stand by me and stay with me!”, putting a smile and taking a photo. UNICEF will help frame this precious moment in a well-designed photo board and deliver it to your beloved family members.

Each participant will also receive a set of UNICEF letter paper to carry on their ‘Heart Message’ action. Available while stock lasts.
