In Bangladesh, child-friendly spaces help provide Rohingya refugee children with vital support.

Since late August 2017, more than 600,000 Rohingya have fled to Bangladesh to escape violence in Myanmar. Many children have seen their homes burnt down and family members killed. In Balukhali makeshift settlement, a UNICEF-supported Child-Friendly Space is providing a safe and supportive environment. Here are some of the children receiving education, psychosocial and other vital support.
